Murphy’s Law

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jennifer Seltzer @ 10:13 pm

“Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, at the worst possible time and in the worst possible way.”  This is an official definition of Murphy’s Law and my life right now.  The economy has pinched us and now that we are pinched everything is breaking.  When will we catch a break???   So last week our furnace was red tagged.  If we run it, carbon monoxide will leak.  It’s right next to the boys’ rooms.  As you remember our dryer died and Aaron got his third flat tire this year.  What the heck he drives over, I don’t know but I’m seriously considering grounding him from his car.   We all four went to the dentist and suprise suprise Jen needs a crown.  Will the money sucking ever end???  I dropped the britta water pitcher and cracked it.  Now, that seems very small in detail compared to our furnace/air conditioner, but really it’s just one more added thing I have to spend money on that I would not have had to.   This is just the past couple weeks.  I could write a story about the past couple months and what’s gone wrong in the Seltzer household since the big squeeze!
