10 Loads of Laundry in One Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — Jennifer Seltzer @ 9:44 pm

Yep, you read right.  Ten loads…washed, dried, folded and put away.  You ask me how, considering my dryer died on me two weeks ago? (And that answers the question of why I had 10 loads in the first place).  I went to my mom’s house and used her washer/dryer along with my sister’s washer/dryer who lives on the same property.  Yep, my own free private laundry mat.  Lucky me!  It was torture though and I wouldn’t wish even my enemy’s dryer to die on them.  Ten loads is close to my record in a day…actually half a day since I’m back home and the boys are tucked away for their naps.  What’s your record?  No judgements

  1. Got you beat – am on my 9th load in one day and I have (I hope) 3 more…..

Why you ask does one person have so much laundry? Well, our washer/dryer is about half the size in the US, Danny just returned home after 12 days of traveling and our company left today. So, on top of all the normal stuff, I decided to wash all the bedding too – 4 bedsets. Oh, and bath mats…. good thing Danny took the kids all day so I could be the busy homemaker. Did I tell you that I love my job?? (hint the sarcasm)

    Miss you!

  2. How lucky was your mom !!?? I’m sure she hated having Isaac and Elijah fill her home with laughter and fun!! They must be the joy of her life…. and I bet she’s feels lucky it was your laundry and not her’s. Oh wait….. I’m that mom and I made out all the way around!
